I have had so many people sit in my chair, and tell me about losing their husband and no longer having a desire to look in the mirror, a older woman who was going on a cruise with younger woman and felt like her husband was going to look at them not her. A lot of people say that makeup is a way to hide who you are, but it isn't. I hope all of my positive words, my tips, and ideas help you feel beautiful, sexy, and creative. I have moved from my home state, which I never thought I would be able to, I have done so much growing and I am still on my journey, it is only the beginning. Now I manage this blog, and a few others, and I am still growing in my passion. I knew I wanted to make people beautiful, I knew I wanted to do bright, daring looks. I learned so much, and most of all I gained something irreplaceable. The manager who gave me my big shot no longer works there, and I don't know if she will ever see this, but I thank her so much for giving me my shot. A lot of the girls I started with had come and gone, even our vendors started complaining it was a changed store. I started getting bored, the customers only wanted simple basic looks, nobody ever wanted to try something new, or wanted to take the time. I worked there and I finished up Cosmetology school, and then things at the job I loved began to change. Two weeks later I was officially a Makeup Artist. I had it all over me! My manager just laughed, and said " You really get into your work, don't you?". Later, she checked on me, I looked like a little girl in her mother's makeup. My first day she told me to get familiar with the makeup lines, read about the products, and test and try.

Finally after busting my ass, getting yelled at for being up front helping ladies find makeup while some of the others stood around, and finally got my big break, my manager agreed to have me try the position a few nights a week. I remember looking up at the front where all the girls were standing, their glam makeup, the black brush belts with what seemed like thousands of brushes and tools. I started my first job as a makeup artist back in 2010, I showed up to that boutique about 2 times a week until I finally bugged the manager enough and topped my kiss assing with a thank you card, and I had a job as a cashier.

Flash to almost 18 years later, add a education, and a confidence, and you have me. My passion for makeup started at a very young age, I was always having my Grandma sit down while I "gave her a makeover" most of the time her hair became a backcombed mess and her toe-polish was multicolored, but I have one thing then, PASSION. Most of the time, so I am one up on the high school me! so that hasn't really changed.but now I have a passion, I have nice breasts, and I am pretty content most of the time with all those things. I didn't know where I was going, or what I wanted to be. In high school I was kind of a duck out of water, so to speak. I am not the kind of girl you usually imagine wonderful things to happen to.
